Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in McFarland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and 56,095-square-foot fire / police facility.
JP Cullen's Janesville Division is looking to team with subcontractors on a hard bid project in McFarland, WI. The project consists of a new 61,000 sqft, multi-floor facility for the Fire and Rescue, Police and Municipal Court departments for the Village of McFarland. Structure to be a combination of steel framing and masonry bearing walls with metal roof deck. Exterior wall systems include masonry cavity wall and metal panels over a combination of masonry and cold formed steel back-up constructions. EPDM roofing completes the building shell. Interior construction includes metal framing and gypsum board, bullet resistant transaction windows, millwork, lockers and security systems. The building is planned to be net-zero energy and will include geothermal heat pump and photovoltaic systems. Be sure to review the bid form as there are 11 alternate bids and one unit price. Alternates are defined in section 01 23 00 and unit prices in section 01 22 00. The project is tax exempt.
