Renovation of a municipal facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the WV Department of Administration, General Services Division ("Agency" and "Owner") to establish a contract for selective demolition of clay tile units followed by installation of new clay tile, concrete masonry units, or drywall assemblies in areas where existing clay tile is damaged or has been removed in the WV State Main Capitol Building. Some spaces also require structural stabilization of existing wall assemblies or installation of fire separation walls. Any space that requires remediation that is readily accessible to building occupants will be repaired in a manner that maintains the historical nature of the building. Spaces that are only accessible to maintenance staff will use more modern building materials and techniques to remediate the spaces per the attached specifications, terms and conditions and project plans. WDP & Associates is serving as the Architect on this project.
