Sealed bids are invited for the construction of New Trail Center PC# 199-17588-A35 at High Bridge State Park, 1466 Camp Paradise Road, Rice, VA 23966. The project is generally described as: New construction including site preparation, construction of a 2,320 SF building consisting of Office, Kitchen, Reception, Exhibit/Display, Sales/Merchandise, Work Area, Conference Room and Visitors Toilet Rooms connected by a breezeway. The building is concrete slab on grade, wood framed structure with wood trusses, architectural shingle roof and composite cement siding. Exterior windows and doors are aluminum clad wood. Asphalt surfacing of existing gravel parking area and road is included. Bid Bond is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
