Site work for a water / sewer project in Pekin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a new sanitary sewer line, new cleanouts, a new sanitary sewer manhole, and all collateral work. Completion of this project shall be on or before July 10th, 2020. All bidders are hereby advised that they must submit a Pre-qualification Statement for this Project prior to opening of Bids. An IDOT Certificate of Eligibility Statement will be deemed acceptable for the Prime/General Contractor bidding this work. A CDB Certificate of Eligibility Statement will not be acceptable for the Prime/General Contractor bidding this work. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Pekin Community High School District #303, in amount of five percent of total of bid(s) upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Commencement of the work on the project may begin as early as June 8th, 2020. Any work before this date shall be subject to the discretion of Pekin Community High School. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
