Site work for a swimming pool in Pekin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
Surface preparation and coating rehabilitation of all pool surfaces. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids. Successful contract bidding firms are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the contractor and sub-contractors not to discriminate in employment practices and shall be in compliance with applicable State of Illinois Statutes pertaining to the selection of labor and the prevailing rate of wages. The Pekin Park District shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation to bid and is most advantageous to Pekin Park District; price and other factors considered. The Pekin Park District reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. The Project has an expected duration of 78 days or completion on or before May 20, 2022 A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Pekin Park District, Pekin, Illinois, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid for the Divisions bid shall be submitted with each Bid. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
