The Project includes the following Work: Construction of upgrades to an existing groundwater treatment system, an associated new building, necessary site and utility improvement, alterations of the existing treatment system to incorporate the upgrades, startup of the improved process, and all necessary work to provide the upgraded treatment system as stipulated in the contract documents. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Groundwater Treatment Upgrades for the Nicholson Landfill. The Project has an expected duration of 240 days. Any and all questions shall go to Rainer A. American Iron and Steel: Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 {Division A-Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statute mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and sittings, manhole cover and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, and Pig iron and direct reduced iron.
