The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland, a body corporate and politic and a political subdivision of the State of Maryland (the County ) is requesting proposals from engineering firms with qualified staff and experience in the inspection, structural analysis, and development of repair, rehabilitation, or replacement requirements for the County s six (6) water storage facilities as well as two (2) water storage tanks, one owned by the Town of Galena and one owned by the Town of Millington (both Towns are located in the County), in accordance with Chapter 49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (CPLL). There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting. All questions and inquiries regarding the terms of this RFP, which must be submitted in writing or via email, should be directed to Michael S. Moulds, P.E., Director of Public Works, at mmoulds@kentgov.org, no later than 4:00 p.m. on January 11th, 2024. A summary of all submitted inquiries and responses will be published in an addendum and distributed within 48 business hours of the above due date. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
