Each bidder shall possess a valid Class B contractor's license and be registered with the DIR. F. Per PCC 20111.6, contractors/subcontractors are required to be prequalified with the District, Prequalification packets are to be submitted to QualityBidders.com ten (10) business days prior to the bid opening. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment for work related to seismic upgrades to the food production area of the District's Nutrition Services facility, per bid plans and specifications. Notice is hereby given that Long Beach Unified School District acting by and through its Governing Board will receive sealed bids for the award of a contract for the above-named project prior to the bid deadline stated above. Bids shall be received at the time and place identified above, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud.California LAB Sec. 1720 et seq. mandates that all contractors comply with DIR general prevailing rates. No contractor or subcontractor shall be listed in a bid for a public work project unless registered with the DIR pursuant to LAB section 1725.5 D. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid. Please submit questions electronically via the District's Online Vendor Portal at PlanetBids.com by 4:00 PM on March 31, 2020.
