In general, the work consists of furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for a Job Order Contract (JOC), for general construction work as described in the bid documents to be used by campuses within the CSU. Receiving Bids For: Contractors will submit bid factors for new / renovation / repair work, as follows: 1)for work on campuses in the Northern California region 2)for work on campuses in the Southern California region Failure to submit a bid for one region of work will not disqualify the bidder from doing work in the other region. Location(s): All CSU Northern Participating Campuses, All CSU Southern Participating Campuses The front-end documents, the Construction Task Order Catalog and the Technical Specifications will be available at the online website at no cost. The Trustees require the successful bidder to achieve three percent (3%) Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation in contracting construction projects as established in the bidding documents, and this must occur prior to the bid opening. This contract is comprised of public works projects which are subject to prevailing wage rate laws (see Contract General Conditions, Article 04.02). All contractors and all tiers of subcontractors bidding on this project shall register to bid public works projects with the Department of Industrial Relations, and maintain current this registration pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5.
