As of April 21, 2023, the Sitework and Foundation Installation project is currently out to bid. The design of the remainder of the building is in Schematic Design. A timeline for bidding and construction of the remainder of the building has yet to be announced. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- This project will provide design for the replacement of Kaveolook School in Kaktovik, Alaska. The Consultant will provide professional design and engineering services detailing the intended design for the project. The Consultant will also provide bidding, construction administration, and post-occupancy services for the project. Additional details regarding the intended design scope of work for the project are included in Exhibit A of the sample agreement However, you are still responsible for ensuring your bid is timely received at the physical address listed above. The Department of CIPM expeditors scheduled time for receiving the mail from the Post Office box is at 10AM and 2PM. The North Slope Borough Department of Administration and Finance, Shipping and Receiving Division are authorized to pick up packages that are being sent by commercial airlines to Utqiagvik (Barrow) during their scheduled pickups, please provide airwaybill number to the Contract Administrator. Bids must be labeled to North Slope Dept. of CIPM, Attn: Sophia Amling, Contract Administrator for commercial airlines (Goldstreak & UPS). Proposals received after the time announced for the bid closing, which will be due time unless otherwise specified, will not be considered. Early submittals are encouraged. Delays due to weather, airline schedules or other unknown variables will not be considered an exception to the deadline requirements. Faxed or emailed RFPs to any Borough employee or representative will not be accepted. Bids are considered received when they have been date stamped and time indicated by the Contract Administrator or designee. All potential bidders are required to register as plan holders on the North Slope Borough procurement website in order to receive electronic delivery of project updates and addendums. Last day for submittal questions shall be in writing on or before May 12, 2020 no later than 12:00 p.m. local time, directed to Sean Gueco, Project Administrator, sean.gueco@north-slope.org The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities or informalities in any of the proposals. Each proposal shall be submitted only on the prescribed proposal forms included this RFP. Attention to the Contract Administrator, with the sealed bid envelope inside of the mailing envelope. The NSB reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals without cause. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Borough may reject any Bid which is incomplete, not responsive, obscure or irregular, any proposal which omits any one (1) or more items required. The NSB further reserves the right to reject any and all submittals or to waive any informality in procedures, or declare negotiations at an impasse and enter into negotiations with the next highest ranked firm, and assumes no liabilities in the event of cancellation of the project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
