At the time bids are submitted each bidder shall possess a valid C7 and C10 or B License contractor's license and be registered with the DIR and must maintain the license and registration throughout the duration of the project. The bid shall clearly show the valid California Contractor's licensing for all contractors and subcontractors to perform the work related to this project. F. Pre-Qualification: Per PCCC 20111.6, contractors/subcontractors are required to be prequalified with the District, if not already prequalified. Prequalification packets are to be submitted to online ten (10) business days prior to the bid opening. SUMMARY OF WORK: A. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for AV install in 78 modular/portable style classrooms. Scope includes, but is not limited to, installation of Extron Audio Visual systems, ceiling-mounted Epson projectors, screens and removal of old existing AV systems (CRT TVs or old ceiling-mounted projectors). Work will include minor data cable installation and electrical to support the function of the Extron system, per bid plans and specifications. NOTICE: A. Notice is hereby given that Long Beach Unified School District acting by and through its Governing Board will receive sealed bids for the award of a contract for the above-named PROJECT prior to the bid deadline stated above. Bids shall be received at the time and place identified above, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud. B. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1720 et seq. the District mandates that all contractors comply with Department of Industrial Relations Online general prevailing rates. No contractor or subcontractor shall be listed in a bid proposal for a public work project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 C. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid. D. Questions about this project must be submitted electronically.
