Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Schiller Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be done under this contract shall be started on or about August 6, 2020. All work under this contract shall be completed by May 6, 2022. The location of services to be performed on: I-294 @ I-57 Interchange in Cook County, Illinois. The scope of the work shall consist of : I-294 auxiliary lane between Ramp C and 159th Street, construction of new Ramp C bridges over I-294, I-57 and Dixie Creek, Ramp C and Ramp F2 pavement, associated drainage, signage and pavement markings and delineation, traffic barriers, maintenance of traffic, erosion and sediment control, installing surveillance systems and restoration of landscaping. Questions pertaining to the intent of the contract documents may be sent to the Illinois Tollway, attention apebler@getipass.com, to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on May 5, 2020. A completed Questionnaire and a statement of current contractual obligations on forms supplied by the Illinois Tollway will be required from the apparent low bidder once the apparent low bidder is determined. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount shown in the bid for the contract. The Bid Guaranty shall be in the form of an acceptable bid bond or a bank draft, certified check or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank made payable to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. This contract includes a specific DBE utilization goal of 29% of the Core Work of the contract
