As of August 14, 2024 project was awarded to Bolder Contractors, Inc., awarded amount is $2,120,485.40. DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS The work shall take place on Wesley Terrace, Grace Street, Kolze Avenue, Gremley Terrace from Seymour Avenue to Irving Park Road and on Marie Lane from Kolze Avenue to Grace Street within the corporate limits of Schiller Park, Illinois. The scope of work includes the installation of new storm sewers, drainage structures, pavement and parkway restoration. In addition, the scope of work of the project involves the removal and replacement of partial curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway aprons, adjustments and reconstructions of drainage structures, replacement of drainage structures, milling the existing asphalt surface, pavement patching, installation of a hot-mix asphalt binder course, and hot-mix asphalt surface course, spot restoration of the parkways, and all other appurtenant work thereto. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the Village of Schiller Park in an amount which shall bot be less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted by the Village, a contract will be entered into with the Village. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such a bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The bidder is specifically advised that the Village has entered into a Partnership with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC), pursuant to an agreement entered into and between the MWRDGC and the Village. The Village of Schiller Park reserves the right to determine the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bid proposals.
