A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of this competitive process is to ensure Pinellas County compliance with Section 287.055 Florida Statutes known as the "Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act" (CCNA). The CCNA establishes contracting procedures by which counties must select architects, professional engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors and mappers ("Professional Firms") for architectural, engineering, landscaping and mapping services ("Professional Services"). The CCNA process allows for professional firms to be chosen on quality of personnel, minority business enterprise consideration, past performance, willingness to meet time and budget requirements, location, workload, and volume of work previously awarded to each Professional Firm by the County. The general scope of work for this project is to provide professional engineering services, the first phase of which being the PER, for drainage and roadway improvements along Anclote Road from Alt 19 to Anclote Boulevard. Services shall include preliminary engineering, design, plans preparation, construction specification preparation, and engineer-of record construction services for all or part of the project limits. Recommendations for final design will be presented in a phased approach to accommodate County priorities and budget. The County retains the right to terminate the contract at the conclusion of the PER if deliverables are not deemed by the County to be satisfactory.
