Demolition and renovation of a water / sewer project in Clayton, California. Completed plans call civil work for a dam / floodwall.
Work includes the rehabilitation of Scenic & Scenis East steel reservoirs, the replacement of Derby steel reservoir with a smaller capacity steel reservoir, & the replacement of Acorn steel reservoir with a smaller capacity concrete reservoir. The work includes demolition & removal of reservoirs, valve vaults, & roofs; raising the height of steel tanks; construction of aluminium dome roofs; construction of a steel reservoir & a concrete reservoir; construction & rehabilitation of valve vaults' abrasive blasting, priming, & recoating of tank interior & exteriors; & constructing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, & pipeline improvements at the reservoirs. The reservoirs are located at four sites in Danville & San Ramon in Contra Costa County, California. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
