Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; and medical facility.

Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) - Catheterization/Interventional Radiology/Simulation Lab Redevelopment Project. VR 19-108 This project will involve the phased renovation of existing building space at CHEO on the 3rd level within the main building and is located adjacently to the Max Keeping Wing of the hospital. This work involves approximately 4,300 square feet of renovation within existing building and involves a complete demolition of existing space and a complete rebuild within the boundaries as indicated on drawings .All work to be completed within a fully operational hospital that both access and security requirements must be coordinated in advance and all activities to be completed in strict conformance to CSA Z317-13-12 Fundamentals of Infection Control during Construction, Renovation or Maintenance of Health Care Facilities. Scope of work will include: - Infrastructure for above ceiling supports and tracking systems for new equipment and coordination with installation of new Cath Lab equipment (Siemen's ARTIS Q BIPLANE) - Relocated existing corridor to exterior wall. - Addition of a Link between CHEO main building and Max Keeping Wing through a pressurized vestibule. - Provide mechanical/electrical and structural work outside the boundaries of the work shown on the drawing (attached). - Roofing work related to new mechanical equipment unit installation on adjacent roof. - Structural works relating to mechanical equipment roof supports and openings, reinforcing for imagining and Mechanical equipment, roof openings and repairs.
