Site work and renovation of a medical facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
A full slab to slab demolition of approximately 22,000 sq. ft. 2nd floor of the Max Keeping Wing of the Hospital, excluding the existing washrooms, data room and electrical rooms which will remain. Refer to attachment: Preliminary Design Package. The project will include the fit up of new lab space including modification or additions to the below systems: New backup generator fed off a new natural gas supply and new UPS., New dedicated RTU and HRU complete with humidification for new lab space. New dedicated lab exhaust system including +/- 10 new fume hoods. Replacement of heat exchangers. Change from HWT to instantaneous hot water supply, including new heat exchangers. New reverse osmosis water system and new clinical lab grade water system. Three new universal washrooms. New pre-action sprinkler system for lab spaces. New prefab walk-in fridge & freezer. New medical gas distribution. Replacement of existing roof and modifications/ additions required for new roof top equipment. *This project is being bid by invitation only.
