As of January 10, 2021, a design engineer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in late 2022. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference Proposals Are Invited From Qualified Engineers/engineering Firms to Provide Professional Engineering Services and for the Design of a Multimodal Trail Project Along Approximately 2,500 Lf of Peninsula Drive in Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pa. Proposals Are to Provide a Breakdown of Prices for Each of the Identified Tasks as Indicated. The Request for Proposal (Rfp) Shall Be Available Only Digitally via Email Correspondence With the Millcreek Township Engineering Department (Asokol@millcreektownship.com). Addenda, if Any, Will Be Issued Digitally to Only Those Persons Whose Name and E-mail Address Are on Record as Having Obtained the Rfp. The Project is Being Carried Out With Funds From the Multimodal Transportation Program From the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The Proposers Attention is Called to the Federal and State Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Compliance With Applicable Statutes, Regulations, and Labor Standards Provisions, All as Set Forth in the Rfp and Its Enclosures, Specifically, Exhibit D - Article V and Exhibit E. Proposals May Be Held by the Township for a Period Not to Exceed 90 Days From the Deadline for Submission for the Purpose of Reviewing the Proposals and Investigating the Qualifications of the Engineering Firm Prior to Awarding the Contract. Millcreek Township Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals, and to Request Additional Information From Any Firm Submitting a Proposal, and to Negotiate Terms to Address Performance Criteria, Costs, and Any Other Aspect of the Proposal. Please Note That the Rfp is for Professional Services and is Exempt From the Competitive Bidding Requirements. Proposals Thereafter Will Be Reviewed and Then May Be Awarded at the Regularly Scheduled Millcreek Township Supervisors Meeting on June 9, 2020 at 9:30 Am.
