Renovation of an educational facility in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Bids from SCPP PreQualified Contractors for this project. The project will be conducted in the CU Anschutz School of Dental Medicine. 1. The purpose of this project is to upgrade an existing exhaust system serving the School of Dental Medicine building at the CU Anschutz campus. Existing fan EFR2 serves the Sterile Processing Department as well as general and lab exhaust on a total of 4 floors. There are current balancing issues the fan appears unable to overcome. The Sterile Processing Department has experienced a lack of airflow from this exhaust system for several years. Existing exhaust riser was routed incorrectly when installed originally and will need to be remediated. 2. Work will need to be accomplished between the hours of 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM or weekends. Demolish existing roof mounted ductwork to accommodate changes to duct riser and roof penetration. Install new jacketed 40" diameter round exhaust ductwork from roof penetration to new exhaust fan. Use smooth, long radius elbows for any offsets.
