Renovation of a municipal facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
GOC1824267: This project involves softly excavating an approximate 1.5 m section of vertical pipe, removing existing heat trace and insulation and installing a small section of 37 mm copper piping with new inline heat trace and pipe insulation on an existing water line at the Freshwater Institute. The heat trace and insulation are to extend the full vertical length below grade. This work will require soft dig methods. Also involved is the installation of new board insulation above the existing underground line from the Water Treatment Facility to the Warehouse. The project also includes the decommissioning of an existing irrigation line. Scope includes removing small sections of piping at the location of the sprinkler head as well as in the ceiling space of the administration building where the line exits the building and capping both ends. Backfilling and laying of new sod is required. GOC1824270: Work of this Contract involves replacing an existing 200 mm water shut-off valve located in the boulevard of the University Crescent serving the Freshwater Institute. Traffic Control, Excavation, Valve installation, Backfilling and Laying of Sod are to be in accordance with the City of Winnipeg Standard Construction Specifications Documents are available at: https://www.bgis.merx.com/ Owner does not release Bid Results. Project will be updated once Awarded Contractor details are announced.
