Bids are requested for the resurfacing of Crow Road (CR 64) in Medina County with a Modified Medina County Spec Item 402 Asphalt Concrete as part of an ORIL Research Project. Also included in this project are: Pavement Repairs, Shoulder Reconditioning, Item 422 Chip Seal, Traffic Control as required, Permanent Pavement Markings and other construction incidentals. Completion date for this project is August 14, 2020. All bidders must be qualified by experience and properly equipped to complete the work specified in the time allotted. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person submitting the bid. Each bidder shall be required to file with their bid the following: 1. Notice of Bid 2. Instruction to Bidders 3. A bid guarantee in the form of either; a) A bond as set forth in the bid documents, Exhibit A, for the full amount of the bid, or b) A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. A letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the County. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit shall equal 10% of the grand total of bid. All bids must be filed on forms provided by the County and submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked, "2020 Medina County Crow Road ORIL Overlay Bid," at the time and date set forth. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Board of Medina County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
