Litchfield Township, Medina County, Ohio intends to contract for Architectural/Engineering services in connection with the Litchfield Township Maintenance Department for a new Maintenance and Vehicular Storage Building with a free-standing Salt Storage Building of approximately 500-600 tons of salt storage area. The new Maintenance facility will be approximately 5,000 square feet in size and must incorporate all the basic functions of a Maintenance facility including vehicular storage, office, restroom, and kitchenette. Restoration of the exterior of the existing maintenance building is also included. The total project budget is approximately $1,200,000, which includes all soft costs, architectural/engineering fees, and furnishings and fixtures. The project site is the current Maintenance facility at 3950 Beat Rd., Litchfield, Ohio 44235. Statements of qualifications should detail the firm's history, education and experience of owners and key personnel assigned to the project, the Lead Architect's experience in schematic design, design development, construction documents, and administration, experience with maintenance facility design, staff availability, equipment and facilities, and references. Firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of qualifications, and contract negotiations will proceed with the most qualified firm.
