Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids for the procurement and replacement of the cooling tower fill for an existing Hamon cooling tower, located at the Terry Bundy Generation Station per specifications included in this solicitation. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Standard Simple Service Contract; 2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation; 3) furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska and also rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating, and 4) Return a completed copy of the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/9/2020 4:00 PM Scope of Work: The purpose of this solicitation is for the procurement and replacement of the cooling tower fill for an existing Hamon cooling tower, located at the Terry Bundy Generation Station. The fill has been determined to be at end of life and needs replacement. The existing tower and fill are approximately 18 years old. Tower circulating water is tertiary water from the local municipal wastewater treatment facility. Existing fill is AAFNCS, 15 mils before forming and general specifications are listed below. Project location is at Terry Bundy Generating Station, 7707 Bluff Road, Lincoln, NE 68517. All work to take place in a standard Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm schedule (No overtime is budgeted for this work). Any work schedule adjustments must be noted with bid.
