Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Merrionett pk, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.

The work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing aggregate path, construction of concrete path pavement, storm sewer and drainage structure cleaning, storm sewer lining, drainage improvements, earthwork, tuckpointing and repairing a stone wall and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications. The District seeks the following participation goals with respect to Minority-owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") and Women-owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") for this project: 24 % MBE participation goal and a 10 % WBE participation goal This determination is based upon the scope of work, estimated project cost and the availability of certified MBEs and WBEs that are certified to provide the type of work needed to successfully complete this project. Collectively, MBEs and WBEs shall be deemed "MBE/WBEs". Bidders requiring assistance in meeting these goals are encouraged to contact: Contract Compliance Administrator Forest Preserve District of Cook County (312) 603-8342 Email: sergio.silva@cookcountyil.gov Submission of a Certificate of Intent to Comply with the Cook County Resident Employment is required for all construction projects over $100,000. Work shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days from the date that the District issues the Notice To Proceed. Substantial completion is the stage in the progress of the Work, as defined in the General Conditions, or a designated portion thereof, that is sufficiently complete in accordance with the Contract Documents so that the Owner can occupy or utilize the Work for its intended use. Liquated damages clause in Section GC-4(g) is applicable to the Work. The Contract shall end within 60 calendar days from the Substantial Completion date.
