Site work and new construction of a museum in Greenwood, South Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a museum; and for site work for a museum.
For Prime Contractors for New Construction for the Benjamin E. Mays Historic Site Auditorium Located at 229 N. Hospital Street, Greenwood, SC 29646 The new Benjamin E. Mays Historic Site Auditoriumon N. Hospital Streetin Greenwood,SC shall be a one-story wood framed building. The building size is approximately 2,925square feet (conditioned).The project shall address the particular laws governing the development of the sitein South Carolina, including but not limited to, building codes, Greenwood County zoning ordinancesand codes relative to DHEC and SCDOT standards.The Auditorium'sfunctional areas include, but are not limited to, multi-function auditorium space, warming kitchen,foyer, bridal room, storage area for tables and chairs, men and women restroom, detached steeple/bell tower, and limited site improvements. The detached steeple/bell tower will be constructed of structural steel and clad with wood.
