The City of Greenwood is seeking a Qualified contractor to repair, replace or service all exterior, commercial grade doors at its Uptown Market and splash-pad facility. 3 double doors; 9 single doors. A total of 16 doors. In case of failure on the part of the Contractor to complete the work as contractually specified, the firm shall be liable to the Owner for all damages sustained by the firm's failure to complete the work in an acceptable manner The City of Greenwood isseeking the services of a qualified entity to fulfill a contract for the replacement, repair, or service of 3 double door sets and 9 single doors (16 total doors) on the property of the Uptown Market located at 220 Maxwell Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646 (see Attachment #1 for various door-types and locations). Many of the current doors are inoperable, functioning improperly (unable to be secured), or in need of routine maintenance. The City intends to service, replace, or repair the existing doors with materials most appropriate to last and withstand the elements. Many of these doors are linked to the City's access control system. It is, therefore, highly necessary for interested bidders to have experience with this technology.
