**As of August 03, 2020, the awarded amount is $1,174,436.11.** This project will include the replacement of the existing Lawton Street Bridge over Mill Creek and corresponding roadway rehabilitation. The particular items of work for the contract are identified more specifically in the Bid Format, Contract Specifications, and Contract Documents. The entire project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check or cashier's check, payable to BOROUGH OF ST. CLAIR, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall be accompanied with the Public Works Employment Verification Form. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap.
