Renovation of a multi-residential development in Beverly, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a seven-story above grade multi-residential development.

As of September 8, 2021, this project has been awarded to Mill City Construction but the awarded amount is not yet available. Garden City Towers Elevators Modernization - the work includes but is not limited to modernization of two passenger elevators at the Garden City Towers in Beverly, including associated upgrades to the Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Alarm, and Plumbing systems. Provide complete and fully operational addressable analog fire detection, alarm and control system in complete compliance with all applicable portions of the entire Division 26 Specifications. The fire detection, alarm and control system shall be compatible with all other Division 26 systems The scope of Work is indicated in the Project Manual. Areas of required Work indicated on the drawings are for illustration and are not to be interpreted as representing quantities, exact locations, and/or the extent of Work required. The Owner makes no representation of the exact quantities of Work required. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to do all Work to the complete fulfillment of the requirements of the Project Manual. The work shall be commenced at the time stipulated in the Notice to Proceed to the contractor and shall be fully completed within fourteen (14) consecutive calendar months thereafter As actual damages for any delay in completion are impossible of determination, the contractor and his sureties shall be liable for and will pay the Beverly Housing Authority the sum of $500.00 as fixed, agreed, and liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed and accepted
