Renovation of an educational facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Requests for clarification are due Thursday, June 18, 2020 2:00:00 PM Coordinate with Architect to develop new extruded profiled bronze frame design to sympathize with historic interior bronze vestibule opening frames. Professionally clean a small sample portion of interior bronze vestibule doors to match metal and finish characteristics for new bronze doors, frames and window frames. Provide Submittals and Shop Drawings as indicated in Specifications. Fabricate doors, frames, transoms and operable architectural grilles for (3) arched openings. Provide temporary enclosures and protection for surrounding building components. Remove existing doors, frames, transoms, thresholds and associated hardware and discard. Rake our mortar from joints at surrounds and repoint. Clean exterior stone jambs and undersides of arches. Install new bronze doors, frames, transoms with architectural grilles and hardware. Contractor is responsible for providing mechanical and electromechanical hardware and installation of electrical and access control wiring in the door assemblies. All access control system cable must meet CBORD specifications outlined on Drawing Sheet A-D201. Perform final metal finishing and cleaning.
