Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. Clarification Deadline: 6/25/2020 3:00 PM Clarification Deadline: 6/19/2020 3:00 PM The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: installation of 2 -15 inch HDPE Pipe (20 feet each), removal and installation of - 18 inch HDPE Pipe (20 feet each) and Hartman end wall systems (3), installation of 59 inch x 81 inch aluminum pipe arch, installation of storm sewer inlets, re-profile roadway, 4 inch 25MM base course, stream by-pass and place streambed material in culvert, bituminous leveling and 9.5 MM overlay. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Bidders must be either a PennDOT Pre-qualified Prime or PennDOT Pre-qualified Sub-Contractor for Work Class F, F1 & H. Kidder Township reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township.
