Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hana, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the construction of a 74,052-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project is located at Waianapanapa State Park Area, Maui, Hawaii. The work shall generally consist of a new comfort station with individual wastewater system, accessible parking, fencing, and improvements to Honokalani Road. To be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractors license classification A or B. Agenda and call-in information for Pre-Bid Conference shall be sent as part of response to requestor. The estimated cost of construction for total base bid is $2 million. The award of the contract, if it be awarded, will be subject to the availability of funds. Since the estimated cost of construction is $250,000 or more, the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply.
