**The project was awarded to the following bidder - George J. Hayden, Inc dba Hayden Power Group $227,500.00 - PSI Pumping Solutions, Inc. $1,379,800.00 The total awarded amount is $1,607,300.00.** Clarification Deadline: 8/21/2020 4:00 PM The Project includes the following Work: Prepare, sandblast, and paint existing equalization tank, two process treatment and digestion trains, effluent box, miscellaneous metals and metal repairs, bypass pumping (as required) in-kind replacement of equalization pumps/controls, sludge pumps/controls, process piping, clarifier drives, cathodic protection, miscellaneous equipment, new process blowers, RAS/WAS blower and air piping, new field instrumentation, remote pump station mechanical work, electrical wiring, conduits, and controls and coordination with Owner's SCADA integrator, erosion and sediment controls, and selective demolition. The Authority is awaiting grant award notification for the project. Construction is anticipated for the Spring and Summer of 2021. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Attention is called to the fact that Davis Bacon wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. Any and all steel products used or supplied in the performance of the contract or any subcontracts shall be from steel made in the United States. The Benton Municipal Water and Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Bid Due Date.
