Site work and paving for a road / highway in Benton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Market Street Contract: Accepting bids for: approx. 3,715 SY of milling, approx. 711 ton of 9.5mm Asphalt, approx. 297 ton of 25mm Asphalt base repairs, approx. 30 ton of 2A stone, replace 1 standard inlet box, replace 2 standard frame and grates, and install 10 ADA ramps. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contracts is required of all bidders. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 Applies to project.
