Berne Union Local School District Requests Qualifications From Interested Firms to Provide Construction Manager at Risk Services for Its New Pk-12 Building Project. The Project is Being Constructed Through the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission's Expedited Local Partnership Program. Services Required Include Working With District and the Architect for Planning & Design, Preconstruction and at Risk Construction, and Close-out of the Project. The Project consists of the construction of a new PK-12 school facility on the current site of the Owner's Berne Union High School; athletics improvements, including the construction of a new fieldhouse, installation of a turf field at the football stadium, and relocation of existing baseball and softball fields; the construction of a new transportation building; and related improvements. The new PK-12 building is anticipated to be approximately 142,000 square feet. The site will be occupied by the Owner during construction. As of September 2022, construction is underway and is expected to be complete by Christmas break 2023.
