Notice Content ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Tuscarawas County Commissioners, 125 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 until 1:30 PM local time on August 12, 2020 for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as the TCMSD 2020 Sanitary Sewer Rehab, and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud. TCMSD 2020 Sanitary Sewer Rehab will consist of three separate contracts: A. Village of Mineral City High Street Sanitary Sewer Line Rehabilitation and Replacement B. Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project Old Orchard #3 C. Wilkshire Hills Wastewater Treatment Plant Sewer Rehabilitation Work Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained from Diversified Engineering, Inc, 175 Ray Ave NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 at a cost of $100.00 per set, non-refundable. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Diversified Engineering, Inc. An additional fee is applicable if requesting mailing of the bidding documents. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who have not obtained plans and specifications from Diversified Engineering, Inc. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Tuscarawas County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. The Commissioners have the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
