Rehabilitate Building - State Fire Museum DESCRIPTION: The State Fire Museum (E0103) is a 7,080 square foot, 3-story building established in 1938. The scope of work provides for rehabilitating the State Fire Museum, addressing deficiencies in functionality, life/safety, accessibility, code compliance, and climate control. The possibility of mold, asbestos-containing materials and lead paint are present in the building. EXISTING CONDITIONS: The facility is open to the public and in use only during the Illinois State Fair held every year in August CONTRACT TIME: Refer to Articles 00 72 10 and 01 32 00 of the Standard Documents for Construction. The contractor shall complete all work through Substantial Completion in accord with the contract within 365 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Authorization to Proceed and shall complete all remaining work in accordance with the contract (Final Acceptance) within 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion
