Renovation of a municipal facility in Fayette, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
A New Roof for the Fayette County Annex Building. A certified check or Bid Pond Payable to the Fayette County Commission in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the contract. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect, or copies thereof All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding $20,000.00 must be licensed under the Provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama 1975. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. All work shall be complete and ready for use not later than 30 days after date established in the Contract for Construction.
