Site work for a water / sewer project in Hillsborough, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor and materials, equipment, tools and services necessary to replace or rehabilitate approximately 5,500 LF of existing 6-inch sanitary sewer pipe at various locations throughout the Town using open cut and pipe bursting methods in the public right-of-way and along easement areas. Other related works includes, but is not limited to, potholing of existing utilities, soil excavation, shoring, backfilling and soil compaction, sewer manhole installations and modifications including rehabilitation, replacing existing sewer laterals and cleanouts, constructing new sewer laterals and cleanouts, temporary sewer bypass pumping, quality control testing, final cleaning and video inspection. Work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the date when contract time commences to run. Bidders are solely responsible for the cost of preparing their bids. Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. Owner may reject any and all bids and waive any minor irregularities in the bids.
