**As of April 24, 2025, the project was awarded to JV LUCAS PAVING, INC, with an awarded amount of $2,520,146.42.** This Project includes construction of concrete curb and valley gutter, asphalt concrete (AC), pavement cold planing, hot mix asphalt (HMA) and rubberized hot mix asphalt (RHMA-G) overlay and mill & fill, AC digout repairs, crack sealing, micro-surfacing, signing, striping, pavement markings, markers, and other incidental work described herein, including traffic control, water pollution control, adjusting surface facility covers, including manholes, valves, pull boxes, and monuments, installing monument box over survey iron pipe. The Project includes one (1) alternative bid, consisting of, but not limited to: Alternate A Bid - Mill & Fill at various streets Alternate B Bid - PCC Gutter replacement at various streets Base bid work shall be completed within 110 Calendar Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. If one or more add alternatives is accepted by the Town, additional time will be allowed as follows: Alternate A Bid: 30 calendar days Alternate B Bid: 10 calendar days The overall length of time to complete all work required by the Contract Documents shall not exceed 150 calendar days from the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the Town, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to Town of Hillsborough as bid security. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Unless otherwise provided in the Instructions for Bidders, each Bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to sections 7000 et seq. of the Business and Professions Code in the following classification(s) throughout the time it submits its Bid and for the duration of the contract: "Class A" General Engineering.
