Project Description: The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of, in general, mobilization; providing traffic control; providing construction area signs; daily cleanup; testing; safety. existing water main replacement using open trench construction methods; water service connections replacement; fire hydrant assemblies instalation or replacement. gate valves, air combination valve, double check detector assembly, trench backfil, street, side walk and driveway restoration, utility adjustments; furnsshing of all tabor, materials, tools, equipment, mechanical workmansh@, and services necessary in order to perform a compiete job in ail aspects as indicated on the pians, and by reference made a part hereof, as specified herein, and as directed by the Engineer at locations shown on the Drawings within the Town of Hillsborough. Work shall be completed within One Hundred Sixty (160) Working Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run.
