The Contractor shall perform all Work within the time stipulated in the Contract, and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services, and transportation to complete all of the Work required in strict compliance with the Contract Documents as specified in Article 5, below, for the following Project: Hillsborough Street Resurfacing Project Federal-Aid Project Number: STPL-5191 (006) The Contractor and its surety shall be liable to the Town for any damages arising as a result of the Contractor's failure to comply with this obligation. (1) Hayne Road: Approximately 9,300 square yard of road will be resurfaced along the 23-foot wide Hayne Road. The resurfacing will start 250 feet southeast from the Hayne Road and Sandra Road intersection and will continue in the northeast direction, ending at the intersection of Hayne Road and Black Mountain Road. Resurfacing for this section of road will include 2.5- inch cold planing and AC fill. Along this stretch of road, approximately 1,900 square feet of digout repair will also need to be completed. (2) Chateau Drive: Approximately 9,800 sqaure yard of road will be resurfaced along the 24-foot wide Chateau Drive. The resurfacing shall start at the intersection of Chateau Drive and will continue northeast, ending at Provident Drive. Resurfacing for this section of road will include a 2-inch cold planing and RHMA fill. Additional improvements include approximatly 2,000 square feet of digout repairs in locations shown on Plan based on field observations and shared-use sharrow bike lane incorporating shared-lane markings and signage in accordance to the standards established by MUTCD, as outlined in the Project Plans. (3) Chateau Drive: Approximately 6,500 square yard of road will be resurfaced along the 24-wide Chateau Drive. The resurfacing shall start at the intersection of Chateau Drive and Provident Avenue and continue in the northeast direction, ending at the intersection of Chateau Drive and Ralston Avenue. Resurfacing for this section of road will consist of crack sealing and microsurfacing. Additional improvements include approximately 500 sqaure feet of digout repairs in locations shown on Plans based on field observations and shared-use sharrow bike lane incorporating shared-lane markings and signage in accordance to the standards established by MUTCD, as outlined in the Project Plans. (4) Ralston Avenue: Approximately 11,900 square yard of road will be resurfaced along the 24- foot wide Ralston Avenue. The resurfacing shall start at the intersection of Ralston Avenue and Chateau Drive and shall continue in the northeast direction, ending at the Town Limits at Pepper Avenue. Resurfacing for this section of road will consist of crack sealing and microsurfacing. Improvements include approximately 1,600 square feet of digout repairs in location shown on Plans based on field observations, replacement of an existing catch basin to a Type GO catch basin at the corner of Ralston and Parkside Avenue, and shared-use sharrow bike lane incorporating shared-lane markings and signage in accordance to the standards established by MUTCD, as outlined in the Project Plans.
