The General Manager of the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, Alameda County, State of California, hereby calls for sealed bid proposals for a new project, Hayward Area Senior Center Renovations. These bids shall be presented in accordance with the Plans and/or Specifications for this project, prepared by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Prospective Bidders must purchase these Project Documents prior to submitting bids electronically. Only plan holders listed on the official Plan Holders List, as maintained by the East Bay Blueprint and Supply Co., on behalf of the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District will be eligible to submit bids. Prospective Bidders must possess a class A or B Contractor License to bid and perform this Project. Prospective Bidder's subcontractors must possess the appropriate license for their trade or other applicable certificate. Failure to possess the proper license will result in rejection of your bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by an admitted surety insurer, in the form procured from the office of said Board, duly executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety admitted corporation authorized to do business in the State of California as surety naming the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District of Alameda County as obligee, or by a cash deposit, cashier's check or certified check, certified without qualification, drawn on a solvent bank of the State of California, or on a national bank doing business in the State of California, for at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, and made payable to the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District of Alameda County. The General Manager reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
