A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project will be bid and awarded as two (2) Prime Contracts: Contract 1-General Construction (GC) - Sliplining Sewer Mains, Sewer Laterals and Manholes and Contract 2-General Construction (GC-1) - Open Trench Sewer Mains, Jack/Bore Sewer Mains, Ausable River Crossing, and Manholes. General Project Description: Sliplining of 8," 10," 12," and 16" Asbestos Cement (AC) sewer mains; replacement of 8", 10"^ and 12"^ Asbestos Cement (AC) sewer mains; Jack/Bore under NYS Route 9; replacement of the Ausable River sewer crossing with double barrel sewer main system; new sewer manholes; rehabilitation of sewer manholes; Slip lining sewer manholes; replacement or sliplining of 4"^and 6" service laterals; and final restoration of all disturbed areas. The Owner requires both contracts to be substantially complete no later than December 31, 2021, and as further defined in the Agreement. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority and women business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. Additionally, all Bidders shall comply with the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Program Requirements and Bid Packet for Construction Contracts, Effective October 1, 2017. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Contractor's bids are irrevocable for a period of (45) days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
