Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Macy, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the addition of a 38,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project consists of a 38,000 SF two story addition which includes a career academy classrooms for business, nursing, a teaching kitchen, automotive and construction shop, a 300 seat auditorium, admin offices, restrooms to serve the facility, and other ancillary rooms to house equipment which serves the systems within the building. The project will contain civil, landscape, architectural, structural, fire suppression and alarm, mechanical, electrical, telecom, and security scopes of work as indicated in the project manual and on the drawings. The work for bid package 1 - Early site package contained specifically rough grading, site utilities, ground improvement structures, and precast supply. All other work outside of Bid Package 1 is to be completed under Bid package 2.
