The County Commissioners of Charles County are seeking bids from qualified contractors for construction services of the Pinefield Fire & Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Station in Waldorf, MD located at 2160 Old Washington Rd. Question Submission Deadline August 14, 2025, 4:30pm Questions shall be submitted via the eProcurement Portal Question & Answer feature prior to the due date and time specified. The County will not provide responses to questions received after the deadline. Performance and Payment Bonds A Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required for this project and contract, from sureties licensed to do business in the State of Maryland and satisfactory to the County and shall be submitted to the County at the time of contract execution by the Bidder within the timeframes required herein. Bid Bond A five percent (5%) Bid Bond from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Maryland and satisfactory to the County shall accompany the bid or the bid will not be considered. Prevailing Wage All County financed construction projects exceeding $500,000 are subjected to the prevailing wages rates. Additional prevailing wage are required for mechanical services contracts, including electrical work for any services valued over $2,500.00.
