Renovation of a detention facility in City of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
As of July 26, 2022, project was awarded to awarded to Barry Isett & Associates, but awarded amount is not available. Elevator upgrade project. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to replace two (2) elevators within the existing elevator shaft at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility (LCCF) in Wilkes Barre, PA. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply to this project. The Luzerne County Correctional Facility reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
