Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sooke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The Project entails 4-laning and realigning Highway No. 14 and local side roads over an approximately 2.5 km long highway segment. Work includes, but not limited to; Traffic Quality, Environment management, clearing and grubbing, removals, water wells, septic fields, roadway and drainage construction, rock excavation, granular materials crushing, proprietary concrete box culverts and headwalls, pedestrian underpass, highway bridge overpass, sound wall, retaining walls, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk, traffic island, bus bays and fencing. Highway No. 14 - Sooke - Generally between the Neil Creek Bridge and Manzer Road. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
