The proposed parking lot and road improvement works includes widening two staircases that access the beaches from the parking lot, removing existing washrooms, adding signage, and refurbish the parking lot through drainage improvements and resurfacing. The scope of works generally consists of the following: Road infrastructure works including; Removal of existing asphalt, walkways, washrooms, staircases and roadside barriers etc., Installation of new concrete and asphalt walkways, Installation of rip rap at two staircases and erosion repair area, Installation of two concrete staircases, and Installation of new asphalt pavement speed bumps and wheel stops. The contractor is responsible for traffic management, including pedestrians and cyclists using all roads within the limits of construction. Line painting, pavement markings & signage. Award is subject to final approval.
