Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Sooke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: The SEAPARC Arena is cooled via an ammonia refrigeration plant which currently utilizes a shell and tube brine chiller. This chiller has reached the end of its serviceable life, and as a result, will be replaced as part of this project. This chiller will be replaced with a low-charge Alfa Laval plate and frame heat exchanger complete with U-Turn liquid separator. Additionally, the facility's two existing brine pumps will be removed and replaced with a single brine pump fitted with a variable frequency drive (VFD).
