Site work for a mixed-use development in Sooke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Request for proposal for new portable. The school district will have the site civilly prepared and levelled to accept the portable building and will have the necessary services located to within one meter of the building location. There is a portable currently located where the new portable will be installed. While this may be the case the configuration of the new portable maybe altered. Mandatory Requirements - Each 24' X 40' Classroom must show costs on Appendix A for a building built to British Columbia Building Code Standards including: 1) The building inclusive of any applicable architectural and electrical, mechanical and structural engineering schedules. 2) All permitting required. 3) Transporting the unit or units to the District of Sooke. 4) Any foundations (wood blocking or equivalent) required inclusive of seismic restraints. 5) The installation of the unit or units inclusive of all architectural, structural mechanical, and electrical connections. 6) A heat pump system designed for the heating and cooling of a 24' X 40' building. 7) Provide and install framing for skirting and skirting with ventilation. 8) Stairs, decks and ramps for entrances at least 1.5 meters wide. 9) A total of all the items listed above. 10) A description of the configuration and the roof and envelope construction. 11) The Portable must be able to be occupied on or before August 24, 2023 Award amount was not released for publication.
